Unique Engagement Rings Without Diamonds

unique engagement rings without diamonds
Another ring question ….?

Well, my grandmother gave me her engagement ring to give my girlfroiend and soon to be boyfriend. The ring is very similar to what she called specifically for. I know it will be like the ring she loves my grandma and after talking with her and her sister frinds I am sure she will feel touched and honored to have the ring. Here's the problem …. I wanted to get to from 0.75 to 1.0 carats of diamonds. ring my grandmother gave me is a bit less than 0.5 carats. Has two stones inthe very small next to the main. Do you think I could put two 25 carat stones on the side? Or is it impossible. Any other ideas to make the ring a little more only for my girlfriend, without completely changing the original ring or ruin? The best I can describe is that the ring has a platinum band, a round diamond in a single bezzled (????) Adjustment and two very small diamonds on each side. all suggestions are welcome.

The exchange of a larger stone has a certain attractive, but since it is a bevel instead of setting an adjustment pin will be more expensive to replace. Not to mention the fact that the largest diamonds were cut with different methods at present (no laser beams at the time) and you really have a unique piece. You may also hurt the feelings of his grandmother. This is a ring she wanted. Imagine your grandfather to pick him up when he was young! The ring has a history. Buy your future fiancee a pair of diamond earrings (also Blue Nile earrings sold) or given a wedding band more enjoyable to go with the ring. I also like the idea of the right ring for your first anniversary.
