Price points for the Tiffany engagement ring?

Okay, so I'm looking at Tiffany's website (this page in particular: http://www.tiffany.com/Engagement/Item.aspx?sku=17655485) and realized that the price information for only one of platinum and diamond engagement ring in the traditional Tiffany setting is that it is "a price of about $ 1,200. 'What does that mean? What exactly does one for $ 1,200? Is the 0.25 carat diamond, as it is the smallest size listed in table diamonds? In addition, anyone know roughly how much any increase in costs carat size? doing absolutely I have my heart placed in a Tiffany ring, I'm just watching everything and I was confused by the prices (from what I heard, Tiffany rings are super expensive, so $ 1,200 seemed incredibly low from my point of reference). Thanks to everyone for clarifying that only the stage!

I was confused as well when I searched online for my ring Commitments (as my boyfriend left me choose) Nearly all web sites that offered a price of how the price specified on the page that was looked for only diamond-set is not included. They have of the existence of a vague way, but I can almost guarantee that a band Tiffany Co will be at least 1200 and a 0.25 carat diamond not be included in that price. that is, my diamond was only 2300 and it is 0.72 and my palladium band is because I am allergic to gold was not Tiffany brand and was five hundred. It also increases the carat size are not the only thing that effects the price of your ring, cut, color and clarity, make a big difference in price. We went to a jeweler that was awsome local and sat with us for an hour to explain everything about buying a diamond. Really learned a lot and it was worth the time it took to find that I really loved.
