Diamond Engagement (loose diamonds) from Costco ..?

I'm considering buying an engagement ring at Costco.com. I want to buy a loose diamond there. Can anyone recommend this. Also, does Costco offer insurance or guarantees if the diamond is chopped or lost. The diamonds do not seem to be cheaper there so am really considering this.

Costco has some incredible diamonds. I've seen in person and wow! The one I was looking at was $ 30k, but … hahah so yeah. However, do your research on the 4'cs. Make sure you know your budget and preference for diamonds cut, color, clarity and carats. So, go! Costco is a great place. The best thing to do is have the ring valued by a jeweler (usually runs about $ 75) and then put on your homeowners insurance or your renters insurance. Then, if the ring is lost or stolen, will be covered. Stores do not offer such insurance, only if you damage ring.
