I would go with the one with the quality of the diamond better overall. A larger diamond does not necessarily mean high quality. You have to look at the clarity and color as well. I've seen girls with the rings that have a large diamond, but would be slightly yellow color and clarity is cloudy. It did not look very closely. The brands and labels do not really matter when the jewelry in my opinion, is just an excuse to charge more. I went through the shopping experience around the ring and I thought he wanted the ring Tiffany right off the bat, but after going to the boutiques of other jewelry, I realized that Tiffany is so expensive and the styles are very traditional and whatever. A lot of other places I went to had beautiful rings that are not necessarily associated with a brand and I loved the most because they are unique.
